Local Remembrance Activities

Always plan to join us for Remembrance Day, November 11th, at the Chester Basin Legion. The Service takes place outside (weather permitting), so be sure to dress warmly as the weather might dictate. We offer a few chairs, but feel free to bring your own folding chair(s) if you'd like to do so. We invite you to arrive early to find a good place. Parking starts to fill up anytime after 10:30 am.

Please consider offering a ride to friends or others in the Community who might wish to join us. Friends and family members of all ages are welcome, and please plan to join us for our reception (indoors) after the Ceremony (COVID protocols permitting). You may wish to bring a lawn chair for anyone who might be more comfortable sitting for the Ceremony outdoors.
